Who We Are
Center for Family Health Initiative (CFHI) is a visionary, focused, goal-oriented and change-driven non-governmental organization (NGO) with registered headquarters in Southern California. CFHI was established to help restore family values and provides culturally tailored programs to address the needs of families and mitigate social drivers of health inequality in our communities.
CFHI work with stakeholders in Southern California to improve the health and well-being of Blacks/African Americans, minorities and vulnerable families. We work to support the social, mental, physical, economic, psychological, and nutritional well-being of Blacks/African Americans, minorities, and vulnerable populations in Southern California. Our programs protect, promote, and restore family health through community-driven and people-first research, education, advocacy, and support services.
Our work with communities make the world a safer, healthier, better, and wealthier society for ALL where all have access to the essentials of life irrespective of each individual’s socioeconomic status, gender, age, or race. We give hopes and opportunities to all, especially those that society has long neglected, abused, and abandoned.
What We Do (CFHI 4A)

— Assessment
We conduct root cause analysis through community surveys, key informant interviews, focus groups, and secondary data analysis to define the problems, and identify the Blacks/African Americans, minorities, and vulnerable populations in Southern California felt family health needs towards their strategic and sustainable resolution.

— Awareness
We create awareness of couple/marriage, parenting, breastfeeding and nutritional, genetic and contraceptive/family planning counseling and support services, and available healthcare and social services.
03.
— Advocacy
We advocate for new policies and laws that will ensure social justice, equitable access, and removal of structural and systemic bias/barriers against Blacks/African Americans, minorities and vulnerable populations in Southern California.
04.
—Action
We advance Blacks/African Americans, minorities and vulnerable populations family health through:
1. Couple and Parenting Counseling & Referrals
2. Genetics Counseling & Referrals
3. Family Planning & Contraceptive Counseling & Referrals
4. Nutritional & Breastfeeding Counseling, Referrals, and Support Services.
We support Blacks/African Americans, minorities and vulnerable populations in Southern California organizations to achieve their visions and missions, providing health and empowering services to minorities and vulnerable populations.
